OUR STORY

We met in the school gym when Charley dropped a mixtape feat. The Cure. And the rest is history. A 14-year friendship. We drifted, travelled and kept finding each other at concerts and festivals—and fired off transatlantic emails between London & Havana.

Our daughter was born during the pandemic. James took a picture at the birth that went viral. Picked up by birth campaigners, it grew into a documentary project about parents, compassion and leadership in maternity, plus award-winning collaborations with the NHS, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and The Lancet, reaching a global audience.

Off that momentum we started Yuma Studios to amplify stories of compassion and resilience to unite and strengthen communities. At the heart of our mission is supporting young people through opportunities to collaborate on projects, develop their practice and build connections with industry.
